We welcome new members from all
walks of life, and there are no specific requirements other than being
male and wishing to give the choir a try.
If you like the sort of music we perform, and are considering joining
us, just come along to one of our Monday rehearsals, where you will be
made very welcome. Better still, drop us an email to recruitment@twocastlesmvc.org.uk
with your phone number, and someone will ring you and arrange to look
out for you.
There are no auditions, and you don't need to be able to read music -
although some past singing experience would be an advantage. It will
all seem a bit strange at first, but after a few Mondays you'll almost
certainly be enjoying it!
If for any reason,
after a few weeks, you feel that it's not for
you, don't worry - it will have been an interesting experience, anyway!
After you've settled
in and decided to stay, you will be asked to pay a
modest subscription (£40 per term in 2019)
which includes the cost of your
music.
You will also need to acquire a choir uniform. The choir buys certain
items, such as black shirts with choir logos embroidered on them, in
bulk - and will supply you with one at cost price. You will be expected
to provide your own black trousers and black shoes, etc.
Please see our Data Protection
Policy for details about we deal with any personal information
which you supply to the Choir.
